Fitness Industry Training offers a number of high quality CEC Courses available for qualified fitness professionals to further develop their careers. Below is a list of the CEC Courses we currently have available, click on each to see more information. All prices quoted on this page are in Australian Dollars ($AUD).
Apply First Aid and Perform CPR
Apply First Aid (HLTFA311A) and Perform CPR (HLTCPR211A) courses are now available online and at the FIT Skill Centre on a regular basis.
Our First Aid facilitator is registered with the Australian Resuscitation Council. This ensures the information being delivered is updated on a regular basis.
The Apply First Aid course is conducted over one day, or two evenings and needs to be reassessed every three years.
CPR needs to be assessed annually and here at FIT we keep the courses to the point, whilst ensuring the necessary elements of the course are covered. Everyone is welcome.

Boxing for Fitness
Chris Haseman’s Boxing for Fitness course has to be one of the best CEC courses in Australia. This course will provide you with correct technical ability in a friendly learning environment that is inclusive of all prior skill levels.
At the completion of this course you will have all you need to design and incorporate Boxing for Fitness into a workout program that will keep your clients super fit and looking forward to their next session. You’ll learn boxing stances and movement drills, how to incorporate boxing into a training plan, hand wrapping techniques, health and safety with boxing equipment, footwork drills, training facilitation, punching drills and combinations, equipment type and usage, and focus pad and body pad drills.

This would have to be FIT’s signature course that is positively changing the Nutrition education pathway for Personal Trainers.

The essentials course is designed to give fitness professionals the essential skills and knowledge to safely and effectively train clients of all levels using the CrankIt Straps and Suspended Fitness Training.
You will learn 36 essential exercises and progressions that will enable you to incorporate CrankIt Straps training into your business immediately. Fundamentals of Kettlebell Training Level 1 & 2
In partnership with the Australian Institute of Kettlebells, we bring you the Fundamentals of Kettlebell Training Level 1 course. This course will teach you the fundamental concepts behind kettlebell training with a particular emphasis on safety and correct technique.
In a full day of practical and theory based training you’ll learn 16 fundamental kettlebell exercises and variations, basic anatomy and breathing techniques, the safety principles behind kettlebell lifting, specific programming principles for beginners to intermediate, how to make kettlebell training safe and enjoyable, and how to instruct clients via a step by step approach.
Level 1 comes with a comprehensive 82 page manual and DVD.
Following on from Level 1, the Level 2 course will teach advanced sequences including the Jerk and Long cycle, alternate holds and presses, correct use of two kettlebells, kettlebell core exercises and kettlebell complexes.
Level 2 comes with a comprehensive 55 page manual and DVD.

Battling Ropes
Battling Ropes are becoming an increasingly effective means of training the whole body, with particular emphasis on neuromuscular coordination and fascial proprioception.
In this course you’ll learn how to progress movements in the three cardinal planes of motion: frontal, saggital and transverse; how to train your neuromuscular coordination; and the increasing importance of proprioception in preventing injury and engaging the senses of the body more fully.
Battling Ropes will train your mind and body to maintain power over a greater period of time. This power is a combination of strength and explosiveness. With the Battling Ropes system you will not only generate more power, but maintain the power over a much longer duration.

Fundamentals of Powerbag Training
In partnership with the Australian Institute of Kettlebells, we bring you the Fundamentals of Powerbag Training. Training with Powerbags teaches the body to use its core stabilizers effectively. In doing so, transferring of energy can take place effectively during even the most complex of movement patterns. This course emphasises a high level of co-ordination within each movement and increases the power by which these movements can be carried out.
In this full day course you’ll learn how to stabilize the core, increase strength and incorporate into power moves, stabilize, strengthen and produce power, and programming principles. The course comes with a comprehensive 50 page manual.
